This is my explanation text that I did at school. Hope you enjoy it!
The Elf Waker
Are you tired of your elf sleeping on his money earning shifts? Yes! Well no need to fear, with the all new Elf Waker your elf wont sleep on the shifts you give him – and he will earn more money! Just follow these wonderfull steps. This crazy contraption will change the atmosphere in your absoulutly noisy home; you can not find anything simpler…
Firstly, (as fast as a thunderball rushing through the wind) a blue roaring fast football falls onto the bellows. Consequently, the bellows puff a huge gush of wind towards the baby blue and frosty white windmill. You’re getting on really well!
Now the windmill’s wings will quickly turn. Attached to the windmill is a copper cable. As the windmill is quickly but queitly turning, the copper cable is turning around too! Keep reading!
There is a spiky cog attached to the cable and attached to the cog is another cable -don’t worry there’s only 2 cables- that cable is attached to a platform and on that platform is a basketball! Are you bored yet? Well don’t be because here comes the fun part!
As the cogs and cables are turning, the platfirm is being pulled to the side then the basketball has no-where to rest so gravity pulls it down onto the huge carrot. You are nearly there! Keep on reading to find out more.
When it falls on to the carrot, it slides down the carrot because its slanted. Then the orange and black curvy basketball will bounce up and down until eventually the horn will honk; it will make a humongous sound. Then it will wake the elf.

Hi its Aman and Summer!!!!
Summer says ” We have been doing our explanation texts that Aman was talking about. After that we made cross-stich christmas cards.” Today we are having a christmas party at school. We both had the same catogarie for food to bring in. Summer brought in cut up carrots and I brought in Yellow peppers, Carrots and coleslaw. I will be having loads of other Best Friends and other people writing with me. Summer probably will be writing again soon with me.
This is my 3rd birthday my sis was not born then.

In my class we have been looking a Petsons inventions and we e-mailed the founders and lucky us, they have replied and their going to look at our class blog. YAY!!!!
